Admit!

Well by now he has been admitted.  Rubber rings around his esophagus, seven pints of blood later he's feeling tired but alive.  We've made it over the first bump.  I'm back to school and work and trying to absorb what's happening or going to happen.  The doctor has found a tumor (the infamous bursitis) on his right shoulder and is worried because it broke the bone and is pretty big.  Now it's ultrasounds, MRI's, x-rays, and more blood for the blood tests.  The waiting is the worst.

Our Daddy said...

The day our lives changed forever

July, 16, 2010 I was at home when my sister Barbara called and said daddy isnt feeling good that he was spitting alot of blood out and I was shocked because daddy never gets sick besides a cold. I told Barbara he needs to get to a hospital and that I was going to leave right now. When I was on the freeway to daddy's she called again and said that they had to call 911 for an ambulance to pick him up. I asked Barbara how bad did daddy look and I still remember her telling me it didn't look good. I felt scared because for daddy to go by ambulance I knew something was wrong. When I arrived at the Hospital barbara was in room with daddy, then mama, then I went in. I was afraid because our daddy was never sick that he had to be an a hospital so it was hard for me to see him in the hospital bed with towels on him covered with blood. Daddy looked at me and said "Babydoll it doesn't look good for me" I didnt want daddy to see me upset but it was hard and told him its okay and kissed his forehead and told him I Loved Him and that we are going to be here with him.
